Duncan Convicted On Bugging. Trial Set On Misuse Charges
Edwin Duncan Jr. was found guilty on two counts of electronic eavesdropping against IRS agents from 1971 to 1973. A trial on misapplying bank funds and an earlier bugging charge against FBI agents will proceed, with sentencing deferred until after the upcoming proceedings. The government says Duncan ordered the bugging and tested the device at Northwestern Bank in North Wilkesboro.
