Moose Honored For Handicapped Aid At High Point Ceremony
High Point Loyal Order of the Moose received a humanitarian award for aiding handicapped employment. Presenters included Julian Josephsohn of the Jewish War Veterans and Dr. Elliot Hester linking the Moose to providing artificial legs for L. C. Quick after a double leg amputation from an auto lift accident. Mayor Carson Stout and Rev. Roger Bell praised the lodge’s efforts with local Moose officials from several cities attending.
