Yorn C Drewery of Raleigh dies at age 56 after illness. He served 24 years as secretary of the North Carolina Grand Lodge of Masons and former publisher of the Raleigh Times. Survived by his wife and two children, funeral Wednesday at 11 30 from Christ Church with Masonic rites. King in Insurance circles and prominent in state civic life. He was born at Drewcoveville and a University of Virginia graduate. He moved to North Carolina in 1858 and was elected to the general assembly in 1898.

Staley Bound Over On Larceny Charge In Wilkes County
Staley, a young white man from Wilkes county, was bound over to the Superior court by Judge Dalton under a 500 bond for the larceny of C. M. Hauser's automobile early last week. He appeared with counsel Roberson, Lurnhardt and Smith and did not resist probable cause. The only evidence presented included three Wilkes County men Oliver Philips and McNell who made the arrest. Sinley showed good character among Wilkes County citizens and was released on a 2500 bond.
