Robbins worker is badly beaten after mill protest

Trio Vessels in Trouble at Sea Near Atlantic Coasts

Rescue ships sped to aid three vessels in distress. The small steamer New Bedford ran aground off Vineyard Sound near Naushon Island, with 67 passengers rescued and the captain aboard as salvage plans formed. A crippled liner Konigstein faced a harbor fire off Nova Scotia but was extinguished and expected in New York with 120 passengers.
