TV Omnibus Expands Repertory with Antigone and Ice Skating
The Omnibus program introduces a regular repertory company and out of town tryouts on a single station. Tomorrow's broadcast features Sophocles Antigone starring Beatrice Straight and an ice skating lesson by Olympic champion Dick Button. Saudek, from Pittsburgh, directs after moving from ABC where he was a VP. The Ford Foundation funds the show’s high cost, sustaining its air run.
