Roadblock Tactics Questioned After Trooper Slain
Raleigh AP Cmdr E W Jones said there was a tremendous amount of firepower at the I 85 roadblock 10 miles north of Durham where Virginia state trooper Garland West Fisher Jr. was killed. Suspect Reuben Conley, 33, of Atlanta, wounded and jailed, faces murder charges in North Carolina and kidnapping and assault in Virginia.
