Two Sentenced In Robbery Of Payroll
In Gastonia North Carolina two men were sentenced for roles in a $6,800 armed payroll robbery at the Myrtle Mill. Albert Ledford 33 received 18 to 24 years after pleading guilty. Olen Price 26 got 18 to 24 months as an accessory after the fact for driving Ledford to Savannah Georgia. Police recovered $3,025 and suspect more remains hidden. Ledford’s brother in law Walter King was the getaway driver said to be forced by Ledford.
