Raleigh GI to Appeal Sentence at Ft Dix Court Martial
Pvt Jeffrey Russell from Raleigh North Carolina will appeal his court martial conviction on arson and rioting at Ft Dix stockade June 5. He received three years hard labor a dishonorable discharge and forfeiture of pay. Two civilians were arrested and Russell said to comfort his wife as the courtroom erupted in disorder.
