George London to Sing in Concert on Nov. 17
George London, noted bass baritone of the Vienna State Opera and Bayreuth fame, will perform in concert for Piedmont Community Concert Association on Wednesday November 17 at the Senior High School Auditorium. London has appeared at major houses and festivals across the United States and Europe including the Metropolitan Opera where critics praised his acting and vocal prowess. The event is part of a North Carolina tour coordinated with Duke University and the Charlotte Community Concert Association.
