Fair weather kept voters lining up nationwide with heavy early voting in New York and surrounding states. Early returns suggest results will arrive late due to a large female electorate and complex postures in both parties.
Voters line up since 6:42 am in High Point as 2,482 registered residents face 623 minutes of voting before sundown. Officials fear not all voters in Ward 4 and Southwest High Point will cast ballots before 5 pm and 9:30 pm. President Wilson visits Princeton, waves to crowd, plans golf after voting as returns come in by telephone.
The first returns from 26 of 32 Kansas precincts indicate Hughes 1389 and Wilson 974 with Topeka city listed as officially Republican.
Incomplete city results from 16 of 26 precincts report 880 votes for Wilson and 416 for Hughes, reflecting early tallies in Wichita Kansas.
In nine of 108 precincts of Wyandotte County including Kansas City Kansas voters report Hughes with 378 to Wilcom with 329. Balloting totals are incomplete at noon per election judges.
In Mn Ne on November 7 President Kota casts his ballot amid a busy election day. He motored to the polls and left promptly after voting as the fiftieth ballot draw neared at High Pols.
Charles E. Hughes cast his ballot at 7.05 AM in a small laundry at 716 Eighth Avenue New York. He noted his ballot number thirteen and remarked Jo was born on Friday. A small crowd and photographers surrounded him as he exited, smiling at a backfiring taxicab and smoke behind a stalled car near his campaign headquarters. He returned to the hotel for a quiet day ahead.
Beaufort reports Chief of Police Joan Skarren died last evening about 7 o clock while beating a drum in the Beaufort band at a Republican speaking event. The rally was halted. He served as chief for 20 years leaving a wife several children and many friends.
The Enterprise will use electric lights citywide to announce the presidential result after AP confirms Hughes or Wilson. Lights will flash three times if Wilson wins and five times if Hughes wins, excluding street arcs, via North Carolina Public Service Company cooperation.
New York November 7 The fight is won the chairman Wilcox declared at noon after country reports showed New Ashford results. Democratic officials including McCormick in Harrisburg and Morgenthau voiced cautious views signaling nationwide sentiment.

Washington November 7. The Pisgah national forest in western North Carolina is made a federal game preserve under a proclamation by the President. It is the first federal game preserve of its kind to be created east of the Mississippi.

New York Nov 7 John A Hoagland the baking powder millionaire and his bride formerly Miss Billie Allen occupy separate apartments though both deny a separation. Hoagland says they are not going to be separated. He rents a bachelor apartment at Fifty third street and Fifth avenue while Mrs Hoagland lives at Eighty third street and Broadway.
The Enterprise hosts an election eve event at 7 PM with live returns from Associated Press. A staffer will gather state and county results from Greensboro and post national, state, and local totals for visitors. Everyone is invited to attend and watch results megaphoned and posted.

Pittsfield Mass November 7 New Ashford the smallest town in the state led the early returns today polls closed at 10 am and the count showed Hughes 1 Wilson 7 in 1912 New Ashford gave Wilson 4 Yoaft 7 and Feoseveto.
An Austrian submarine and an Italian destroyer were sunk in a naval duel on the night of October 16. The submarine attacked a transport which escaped, according to an official statement released by the admiralty.
Washington November 7 The general weather across the country is fair this morning the Weather Bureau announced. Light local rain fell in the extreme upper Mississippi valley and snow in eastern Colorado. It is unusually warm for this time of year and no region reported unpleasant conditions.
