Housewife Boycott Hits Wilmington Grocers
In Wilmington North Carolina a week long boycott by Operation LFP began Monday targeting price hikes and other perceived issues. Mrs E A Shands Jr reports strong turnout and says skeleton lines will give way to a bigger return next weekend as 14 major chain stores see reduced traffic while independents prosper.

Time Of Murder Fixed In Sheppard Retrial
Cuyahoga County Coroner Samuel R. Gerber fixed Marilyn Sheppard’s murder time at between 3 and 4 a.m. on July 4, 1954, based on autopsy findings. He testified during the Marilyn Sheppard retrial of her husband Samuel H. Sheppard, noting police first learned of the slaying at 5:57 a.m. from J Spencer Houk, then mayor of Bay Village.
