Bond drive at Methodist Protestant conference raises $10000
During the morning session the conference and visitors publicly subscribed for $10000 in bonds for the denominational college. Rev A L Hunter donated over 1000 in memory of his deceased daughter as tears and praise flowed. The committee adopted requests from President Humphreys including support plans for High Point college and a two week bond campaign from November 16 to 30.

Jones Damage Suit May Last All Of Next Week
Special to the Enterprise Greensboro November 6. The $25 000 suit of H S Jones against the city of High Point alleging damage to his 120 acre farm by the nearby sewage treatment plant proceeded slowly with about five of some 40 witnesses for the plaintiff taking the stand and predicting the case will consume most of next week.
