The Labor Department reports a 0.6 percent rise in October wholesale prices, the second big monthly gain this fall. Industrial prices climbed 1 percent, led by transportation equipment, fuel products, lumber, rubber, machinery and metal goods, with farm prices down 1.2 percent.
