North Carolina incumbents win reelection in five districts

L Richardson Preyer Stephen Neal and Ike Andrews secure two year terms in the Fifth and Fourth District races. Neal defeats Mizell in the Fifth District by 97 887 to 82 746 with Mizell carrying three counties. Andrews wins the Fourth District by narrow margins though Randolph favors his opponent. Mizell posts strong showings in Davidson Stokes and Ashe but Neal leads overall amid national attention on the contest.
