County to allow voting hours extend for election day
County Manager John Witherspoon says 700 county employees may come in early or leave early to vote under an Elections Board plan led by chairman Z. H. Howerton. Greensboro will grant daytime time off for voting Tuesday, while High Point will not. Polls open 6:30 a.m. and stay open 13 hours to 7:30 p.m.
