One Killed As Inmates Of Ohio Prison Riot

A prisoner was shot to death and two others wounded today as inmates at Ohio state penitentiary rioted. Carlyle Noel, 30, of Cincinnati, died after being shot in the head. The riot involves about 1,900 prisoners and caused up to $1,000,000 in damage. Guards plan heavier equipment and continued containment as officials seek ringleaders.

Army Announces Draft Call for 48 000 Men in January
