Greensboro The Rev. Young Hwan Choi will be guest speaker at the Piedmont Businessmen's Fellowship November meeting set for Saturday at 6 30 p.m. in the Sand W Cafeteria. He is credited with establishing Full Gospel Chapters in South Korea and is a graduate of Pyung Yan Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He served as pastor in Okin and as chaplain in the Republic of Korea Army.
The Dennis Family will be at Highland Baptist Church tomorrow all day with Reverend C R Ritch, pastor, stating that services are open to the public.
Thomasville churches sponsor a citywide Crusade beginning Sunday at the Civic Center on Randolph Street. Dr. Paul Elliott of Frankfort will preach and Rev. J. W. Stiles of Cherryville will lead the soloist and choir. Participating churches include Mt. Zion, Memorial Park, Heath, Holly Hill, and Wesleyan.
The Rev. Gene Booker of Robbins will preach during revival meetings at Archdale First Baptist Church starting tomorrow and ending next Sunday. Evening services begin at 7 30 pm with nursery provided. Pastor Rev. James C. Alley announces church at 3800 S Main Street.
A week of evangelistic services starts Monday night at Greenwood Hills Wesleyan Church on N Main Street. The Rev Ransom McAlpine of Winston-Salem is the evangelist, Jack N Kimble will lead the music, and special choir and vocal talent will be used each night at 7 p.m. Services continue through Sunday November 10 and are open to the public.
Hillcrest Baptist Church on Rt 1 Kernersville will hold revival services at 7 30 p m tomorrow continuing through next Sunday The evangelist is Rev George Tunstall interim pastor at First Baptist Jamestown Weekday services start at 7 30 p m and nursery services will be provided Pastor Rev Tobie P Stone Jr notes the revival is open to all attendees Highway two miles north of Highway 311
The congregation plans a family night supper tomorrow at 6 30 pm in the fellowship hall. A feature film For the Love of Children will be shown and Jack son Hoyle director of social service at the Methodist Children's Home in Winston Salem will give a talk.
The Rev. John H. Steverson will lead revival services at Parkwood Baptist Church on Penny Road daily at 7 30 p m from Monday through Sunday. Steverson, pastor of Hamilton's Cross Roads Baptist Church in Marshville, is a Columbia S C native and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary graduate. The pastor Rev William Bishop said the revival services are open to the public.
Grace Lutheran Church will observe All Saints Sunday at 11 a.m. remembering members who died in the past year including Roy Aldridge Sr. and others. A blessing will be offered for a brass cross and parament sets. The annual meeting and catered supper follow at 6 p.m. with a Church Council election and 1969 budget proposal.
The Rev. Fred Somwalt will evangelize revival meetings at Providence Wesleyan Methodist from Monday through Sunday. Somwalt, pastor of Christ Memorial Wesleyan Church in Winston, will lead services starting daily at 7 30 p m. Open to the public with special singing by Gene McNabb, parish music director. Providence Wesleyan is on E Fairfield Road.
Fund raising event observed tomorrow in the High Point District United Methodist Church marks a campaign milestone. An open house for the Hedgecock Lodges at Randolph County camp site will run from 2 to 4 p.m. to finalize Phase Two development of the 530 acre retreat.
The Rev. Buck Bowen of Shady Grove Mission on East Springfield Road will preach the Sunday evening sermon at West End Baptist Mission. Special music will be provided by Rev. Bowen and his family. Service begins at 7 p.m.
Dr. Paul F. Elliott a general evangelist in the Wesleyan Church will speak at the 11 am worship service at Mount Zion Wesleyan Church. He has led in Pilgrim Holiness roles including superintendent and president of Pilgrim Bible College in Pasadena California. Mount Zion recently set a new rally day attendance record with 1,253 attendees across two services.
