Woodmen To Hold Memorial Service At Oakwood Park
Piedmont camp No 62 Woodmen of the World will conduct its annual Decoration service at Oakwood Memorial Park cemetery at 8 o clock next Sunday morning. Members should gather at the cemetery entrance for a brief ceremony followed by placing flowers on deceased members graves. Visiting members are invited. The 12th annual commence ment program at High Point College continues tonight in Roberts hall auditorium at 8. Senior girls Dorothy Bell Inza Hill and Mary Margaret Bates compete for the Charlotte M Amos medal in the essay contest while senior men Wilson Rogers Odell Brown J P McKitchen and Alton Hartman vie for the oratorical medal. Judges are Miss Unity Nash Ben L Herman and N L Garner. Also included is a notice of a land sale by Wachovia Bank as trustee for The Prudential Insurance Company of America in Guilford County scheduled for June 21 1937 at 11:00 a m at the Municipal Building High Point.
