Newcomers to High Point welcome Gaskins family

Charles M. Gaskins and his wife moved to 302 West Bay Street High Point early this month. He joins the Uwharrie Council as assistant scout executive and serves as field executive for the High Point district, working with Sapona camp near High Rock and Jackson camp near Asheboro. The Spring Hope native showcases model railroading with pride, plus a photography hobby that yielded 3,000 Byrd South Pole expedition photos. Mrs. Gaskins, former Virginia Threatt of Fayetteville, collects pitchers despite limited space, and has two children Susan and James. The family, Baptist but not yet attached to a local church, appears on their Ray Street lawn.
