Name Change Sought for Normal College to MeClver College
Greensboro May 26 The Alumnae association of the State Normal and Industrial college votes to recommend to directors a name change to MeClver College when it becomes a 14 unit institution. The proposal, if approved, would go to the North Carolina general assembly for final action. Supporters credit Dr Charles D Meclver with building the college into a premier women’s training institution in the south. The board’s decision will be highly watched.

Dodamead Returns Home After Noted Art Training
