London reports heavy artillery fighting last night between Givenchy and Robecq on the southern flank of the Flanders salient. The war office provides the dispatch from the front.
High Point citizens will launch a Red Cross campaign Monday with a 3000 dollar goal as part of a nationwide effort to raise 100 million for relief in France and Flanders. Rev. James A. Clarke says the cause warrants patriotism equal to aiding liberty bonds.
In Durant Oklahoma on May 18 the General Assembly of the Southern Presbyterian church planned to hear committee reports.
