Four ministers named as delegates to church merger meet
The Rev. Richard Cheek of Thomasville is among four Evangelical and Reformed Church Southern Synod ministers chosen as official delegates to the Cleveland merger meeting. The United Church of Christ will have hundreds of institutions worldwide and thousands of members after the merger. Dr. John R. Church will conduct evangelistic services at Vickery Methodist May 12 22 with 11 am services on Sundays and 7 30 pm on other days. Mothers Day aid across North Carolina Baptist churches supports Baptist Hospital Winston-Salem, with free services valued at 500000 in 1956. The Rev. J. E. Nelson will attend the Christian and Missionary Alliance conference in Charlotte May 15 19. Revival planned May 12 19 in Thomasville at South Side Baptist Church led by Rev. Fred L. Kelly. Rev. Ray Harvey from Ohio will preach at Peoples Missionary Baptist Church tomorrow.
