Young Musicians Win Honors At NC Convention
The Young Musicians Club of High Point earned two honors at the North Carolina Federation of Music Clubs convention in Greensboro on May 6 7. The group won a Certificate Award for the third best Yearbook and was named the Most Outstanding Club in the Piedmont District. Delegates included Mrs. Robert Cress Sharon Workman Laura Wall Susan Hedrick and Ann Whitley with Cress chairing elections. New state junior officers Jerry Young Beth Barona Betsy Phifer were installed by Mrs. John W. Clark. Sandra Dillard led the Federation Hymn. The year’s meeting will be in Asheville.
