Ready for exhibition on other floors in about ten days. Made of Victoria Brazilian Rose wood with Red Gum, finished in three coats clear lacquer and hand rubbed. Interior is solid Mahogany. The showing has drawn favorable comment.

Raleigh May 6. North Carolina building and loan associations numbered 235 and built 8 868 new homes in the state during the year. The report of Insurance Commissioner Dan Rooney shows about ninety new homes per county adding 250 000 to taxable property value. The department’s records note growing assets: 164 associations in 1917 with 18 000 000, 215 with 45 000 000 in 1922, 240 with 84 000 000 in 1926, and 234 associations with assets over 90 000 000 at end of 1927, with one association not filing.
