Cotton Mills Visit Planned by War Board Panel
A War Board panel studying union wage demands in southern textile mills will visit several mills to study conditions firsthand after concluding a four day hearing. They cited hours in 1943 and urged a 60 cent per hour minimum with later increases, vacations, daily wages for piece workers, and shift differentials. Hearings resume in April here.
