Grady Seeks Utility Chief Post Relieves North Carolina Admin
Paul Grady entered the race for Utility Commissioner, a move seen as relief for North Carolina Administration forces. He had been rumored to run for State Senate, a role that could challenge Governor and Lieutenant Governor Horton, but will now not join the 1939 Senate. The administration figures prefer a weaker contest for Grady than a Senate bid that could pressure the administration.
