C W Gilliam and D A Troutman, incumbent judge and solicitor of Thomasville Recorder's Court, were officially appointed by Governor Hoey for a new two year term. The bipartisan Thomasville City Council recommended both due to long service. Gilliam, a Democrat, Troutman, a Republican, will be sworn in next week at city hall. Gilliam has served about ten years as judge. Troutman similar tenure with one two year term.
