Unfairness in New State Fair Ground Bill Commented On
The Enterprise reports Raleigh seeks to force the state to provide 200 acres near the city for a state fair ground while the city would gain returns from the old site and a share of losses. The bill requires Raleigh to relinquish its equity in $125,000 from the old ground and add $75,000, totaling $200,000 for buildings. The bill was read on first reading.
