Chattanooga police narrows the Virginia Jo Frazier kidnapping to two women and a man. Frank Baskett a 47 year old ex policeman and Mrs Annie Tomison are jailed on kidnapping charges. Nursemaid Miss Johnnie Peale is questioned as investigators track the ransom demand and a strand of hair in a locket. Baskett denies the charges asserting the Fraziers were his friends and recounts his attempt to help. Luke Pogue states investigators identified the culprit within a day but were blocked by the Fraziers.

A Miami era known kid named Bradley McIntosh alias George Hall and two companions were held in Bibb county jail for the slaying of broker E B Hogan during a forced robbery near Macon Georgia. The suspects confessed after interrogation and described the fatal encounter, with Kenton claiming the shot happened accidentally while disarming Hall. Mrs Eva Tanner, Hogan’s companion, was released after nine days in jail. The case goes to the grand jury opening April 4.
