Man Charged with Felonious Burning After Car Fire
High Point police charged Larry E. Strickland with felonious burning of a motor vehicle after a car fire near the I 85 cloverleaf. Damages were estimated at 700 dollars. Also charged were Samuel Harris with breaking and entering and larceny for stealing a hot plate on Gordy Street. Harris was arrested March 27 for a March 25 theft. Grover Benton faces DUI charges. Police probe a break in on E College Drive and note forced door at H M S Car Wash and an attempted break in at C V Rich Hosiery Machinery.
