James Manufacturing Incorporation Planned as New Year Begins
James Manufacturing Co. will start its new fiscal year April 1 as an incorporation. Incorporators are J Clarence Coggin J Thayern and Sally M Coggin of High Point with Thayern as president and Clarence Coggin as vice president and treasurer. The firm founded in 1945 to make sofa beds now produces various living room furniture. The present 50 000 square foot plant will be expanded by about 20 000 square feet in the coming months as the company expands.

Dr Willard Graham director announced the 4 pm ceremony will award certificates to 23 business leaders from across North Carolina. Dean John E Jeuck of the University of Chicago School of Business will give the commencement address. Chancellor Robert B House will speak briefly on the program begun in October 1953, as Richard J M Hobbs introduces the candidates.

Total Steel Sales Down 14 Million For One Company
