Nine protesters invade Dow Chemical offices in Washington
In Washington nine demonstrators affiliated with the Interfaith Peace Mission invaded Dow Chemical Co offices, poured a substance described as human blood on furniture, and hurled records from a fourth floor window before surrendering to police. They denounced Dow for alleged destruction of life and profit from napalm defoliants and nerve gas, with Rev Bernard E Meyer leading the action. Local Dow officials declined immediate comment.
