President Calvin Coolidge returns to his boyhood home in Plymouth Vermont to bury his father Colonel John C. Coolidge. Attending were Mrs Coolidge John and officials Sargent and Major Coupal. Funeral set for 2 PM at the family plot in nearby cemetery.

T. L. Talbert Jr. lay in hospital after a stag party in his honor at a Charlotte hotel turned tragic. While guests celebrat ing with water, a glass shattered and severed his external jugular vein and carotid artery in the dining room, near death before doctors intervened. doctors said he would probably recover.
Col onel John C. Coolidge who died at his home in Plymouth Vermont May be buried from the little union meeting house in Plymouth where the president's father worshipped. The church built in 1848 by community effort and tied to the Coolidge family through the Social Union with past presidents part of its story. The property is owned by the entire community and the church has been repaired through local drives since 1896.

Tarboro North Carolina March 19 AP William A Hart prominent cotton mill owner and first district state highway commissioner died at his home at 5 am from a heart attack. He was 63 and survived by Mrs Hart and one son B M Hart. He had built Tarboro Cotton Mills and led agricultural work as 1926 NC Agricultural Society president. He was once considered a possible 1928 lieutenant governor candidate and had wide backing in eastern NC. He was known for church work and Presbyterian lay leadership.
