Dennis Lee Goforth, 27, of Marion, died after an apparent accidental shooting at home Friday. A McDowell County Sheriff's spokesman said a child pulled the trigger of a .22 rifle left on the bed where Goforth was sleeping. The rifle was normally kept unloaded.
