Philip Blaiberg, the only survivor of a heart transplant, leaves Groote Schuur Hospital with Dr. Christiaan Barnard after a 74 day stay. Blaiberg, 58, declares he is very well and eager to go home as Barnard plans his next transplant. The donor was Clive Haupt, 24, who died of a brain hemorrhage.
