ASHEBORO Cartos Dale Dorsett 28 of Rt 2 Asheboro died after a traffic accident on rural Fuller Mill Road 1404 a mile north of Highway 64 at 230 pm Saturday. He was a Westside Volunteer Fire Dept member. Cause cited as water tank shift causing a truck overturn. Dorsett thrown from the vehicle sustained head injuries. Born Sept 14 1947 in Randolph County he was a cargo porter with Standard Trucking. Survivors include wife Edna Small Dorsett two daughters his parents Mrs and Mrs Lee Dorsett three sisters Mrs Francis Parker Mrs Vernell Wilkes Miss Elizabeth Dorsett five brothers Harvey Alvin Joy James and Clarence.
