Insurance Firms Urged To Speed Up Payments
Raleigh March 14 Chairman T F A Wilson of the state industrial commission urged 24 insurance companies to speed up workers compensation payments. He noted 45 top companies paid first claims within 21 days in 65.8 percent of cases in the last six months, while 24 firms ranged from 47.8 to 4.3 percent. The firms handled about 18.8 percent of 5 341 cases in that period.
