History of Taps and Town Incorporation Clues

Production Of F-111 Jets To Be Ended
The Pentagon will end F-111 production at 556 planes well below the original plan. Gen James Ferguson told the Senate committee no money will be spent on production beyond mid 1972 to complete four fighter wings. Most of the 225 operational jets have been grounded for X ray and sonic inspections after a 13th F-111 crash in Las Vegas last December.
