State Garden Tour Cancelled
Mrs J F Hayden of the High Point Council of Garden clubs was notified of the cancellation of the state garden pilgrimage this year. Local councils are advised to proceed with local pilgrimages if desired. A letter from Mrs Roy M Homewood of Chapel Hill cites labor shortages and garden changes as reasons. The local pilgrimage may be held in April if plans materialize and attendees for the state meeting at Southern Pines or the national meeting at New Orleans should notify promptly.
