Randolph G. O. P. Meet Slated For Asheboro
Randolph County Republicans plan a county convention at the courthouse in Asheboro on March 24 at 2 p.m. to elect a party chairman and secretary of delegates to state congressional and judicial conventions. Precinct meetings are set for March 17. Delegates to Charlotte on April 4 total 23 with 33 alternates. The event could shape support for Duncan or Ferree amid insurgent candidates.
