Interfaith Program Set Monday by NCJW at Bnai Israel
Invitations extended for an interfaith program by the High Point Section of the National Council of Jewish Women to be held Monday at 8 p.m. at B n ai Israel Synagogue. Mrs Norman Hekler and Mrs Harry Jacobs direct the program Symbols of the Synagogue with council members including Mrs Herbert Warner and others participating. Rabbi Robert Sandman will preside at a question and answer period followed by an informal reception in the social hall.

Episcopal Women Plan Spring Convocation Meeting
St Marys Church hosts the Northwest Convocation Episcopal Churchwomen of the Diocese of North Carolina on Tuesday March 18. Mrs Roger Gant Jr of Burlington chairs the convocation with Mrs Arthur Corpening of High Point as vice chair and Mrs A E Gant of Burlington as secretary treasurer. Churchwomen president Mrs J A Marsh leads attendees from 16 cities to begin at 9 30 a m and end with a luncheon at 1 p m. The session aims to help parish representatives set goals and share church and community activities. Mrs M Motsinger Jr of Roaring Gap is diocese Churchwomen president and Mrs Robert E Merritt of Mount Airy is secretary of Christian Education and general planning chair.
