Rocket and mortar attacks escalate in South Vietnam

AP dispatch from Saigon reports increased rocket and mortar fire by the Viet Cong, a large ground assault near Saigon, and rising casualties. Heaviest fighting 15 miles north of Saigon near a U.S. 1st Air Cavalry combat posn. 154 enemy bodies counted at dawn.
