Wounded include Sam Haston brother of Tennessee secretary of state Ernest N Haston and Mrs George Haston Sr. who are at the bedside in critical condition. Douglas returned after being warned and fired a shotgun at the house.

Fire damages Salisbury hospital in attic blaze
A Salisbury fire last night caused damage estimated in the few thousands. The blaze burned the attic and two small rooms under the roof of the main building for about three hours. Patients were moved to nearby homes and returned to the hospital this morning.
