Croatan Held Without Bail in Officer Killing Case
Fayetteville news reports Joel Levy a Croatan is held without bail for the superior court on the charge of killing Special Deputy W C Callahan after a preliminary hearing before Recorder W C Broadfoot. Witnesses Strickland and Hall testified Levy shot Callahan while Smith fled. Earlier, they found four bags of liquor in the woods near Victory Mill.
