Gun built houses rise in Southern California boom
In Southern California a fast method shoots concrete houses into existence using sectional steel forms and high pressure spray. The first completed two bedroom home near Apple Valley Vista is occupied by Mrs. Pauline Vogel. others follow near Moorpark and North Hollywood. The process uses no wood, with water-proofing sprayed after set, and costs around six dollars fifty cents per square foot.
