Picketers in Scotland Neck jailed for May protest without permit
Eleven Scotland Neck demonstrators accused of picketing without a permit received seven month jail terms in Halifax District Court. Judge Edward K. Washington imposed bonds of 2500 dollars, with eight defendants offered suspended sentences for good behavior and a 100 dollar fine. Golden Frinks was not among the suspended defendants.
