Strict Curbs Set In Postal Bill
The Senate advancing a postal reform package adopted strict anti pornography language as part of the measure. The 48 to 41 vote blocked an attempt to replace the Senate draft with the House version. The bill would create a postal commission and rate board while promising an 8 percent wage hike. It would bar strikes but allow a possible union shop in the Senate plan. An anti pornography amendment sets penalties up to 10000 dollars and ten years in jail.
