Reward Offered for Smokehouse Robbery in Lexington
Farmers along Highway 90 near Swearing Creek west of Lexington have posted a 125 dollar reward for the arrest and conviction of the thief or thieves who robbed A. W. Sink’s smokehouse. Ten hams, each 20 to 40 pounds, were taken and partly discarded near the barn. Sheriff Fred C. Sink notes no footprints or signs of prying, suggesting a master key was used.
