Housing Authority Goals Discussed At Meeting
Mrs. Leo J. Mortimer, community service director for the Housing Authority of the City of High Point, spoke at the Pilot Club dinner at the Sheraton Hotel. She outlined the authority’s origins in 1940, its staff aims to identify needs and mobilize local resources, and the ongoing need for volunteers. The next meeting is planned for July 9 at Carter Town with a patriotic emblems program.
