Realtors Seek State Board For Real Estate Licensing
The seventh annual Realtors Institute proposes a state license law and a real estate board to regulate the profession. Rochelle of Roanoke Rapids says the bill would protect the public and elevate the field, with funding from license fees. The measure aims to take effect July 1, 1955 and would be independent of state finances. The institute, backed by the real estate association, meets at the University of North Carolina.
